Like many things, Bayard's began as a local favorite first. But it wasn't long until word spread and shoppers lined up outside his small storefront eager for a taste. A few years later his son entered the business. Wanting to put his own personal stamp on the business, he introduced chocolate houses and invited shoppers to come in and handpick their favorites for careful packaging.
